Designed, developed and built in our own Dutch factory

The ViroPower is a completely Dutch product. Not only do we produce the devices in our production location in Hengelo, the entire development and testing process is also in our own hands.

Our development department has developed the complete device in 8 months. From the first prototypes in April 2020, the UV-C air purifier was delivered to the first customers in November. In these months, work was done on various prototypes, whereby a number of basic conditions were set

- The device must be durable. Like our other devices, devices must still function flawlessly after 10+ years and replacement items must be available.
- Installation and maintenance should be possible for everyone
- The air purifier must be suitable for both large and small rooms, offices and other spaces (between 20 m2 and 120 m2)
- The output of UV-C must meet the highest possible standard (TÜV certified)

Production still takes place in our production location in Hengelo. A team of 15 people builds various lighting devices here, including the ViroPower. Because these people have for the most part been working for Ultrasun for many years, they are technically very well versed.

After the devices are built, they are tested on more than 40 points, including various safety tests, before they are packed.

The air purifier is then packed in such a simple way that installation is arranged within 3 minutes, but also so that it can be shipped all over the world, because it is safely and firmly packed and can be sent on a normal pallet.

You can also contact us in Hengelo for service afterwards. Although the air purifiers are designed and built to function without problems for more than 10 years, it is possible that an error occurs somewhere due to misuse or for some other reason. One phone call is enough to have a new one sent to you, after which you can return the defective device in the box in which the new device was packaged. That way you never have to run out of clean and healthy air again.
